CRAFTMANSHIP
| free-OO-lah-NEH |
The friulane slippers–originally called scarpets–first came to fruition in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, a stunning region in northeastern Italy over two centuries ago.
At Viani, we preserve to this day the old-world-craftmanship fused with our contemporary approach. We work with 40 artisans that uniquely stitch each shoe using techniques dating back to the 1800s and passed down through generations –they are not espadrilles yet authentic ‘Friulane’, and the most comfortable shoes you’ll ever wear!
